Thermal IR for Transportation
Transportation and police agencies are quickly becoming users of passive IR devices. We have recently produced this video from the roadside to show how we can see the side of the road more easily even when there is an emergency responder vehicle on site. Notice that the thermal IR device does not see the flashing lights.

IQeye IQinvision Shoot Out against Panasonic NP304
The technology discussion for megapixel camera applications is never ending. From topics like Wide Dynamic Range to H.264 the discussion just got started. Undeniably the best proof is a real time shootout or recorded proof of concept. In the above example each MP camera is factory default to perform out of the box. Understanding the differences between each manufacturer mean you must understand how to apply the technical features of the product. Then how those features apply to day and night performance, image refresh, recording and live viewing. The results of this test were as follows; 1) Just because it is a 3MP camera doesn't mean you will get more information, 2) There can be big differences between manufacturers especially in low light situations where one can still product a great picture in color and the other must switch to black & white and induce frame integration to keep a good image, and 3) Noice Reduction filtering means a lot with megapixel cameras.
Features such as Auto Back Focus and Super Dynamic must be studied to truly understand why you should install Panasonic.

Wireless Partnership for Housing Authority Installation
Envision Wireless Engineering and Georgia Cabling & Electric Corporation partnered to create a robust wireless surveillance solution for a local City housing authority. Movable cameras patrol the property for increased security of its residents and provide the deterrent for criminal intent.
GCES leveraged EWE's wireless experience for training their technical staff to eliminate any troubles during implementation and deployment. EWE's on site post installation check out mitigates the risk for unnecessary service calls during the warranty period. Mega Pixel - The easiest most difficult camera to install!
Why would any company install any other Mega Pixel camera than the Panasonic Mega Pixel camera? I will tell you. It is because they do not know about FOCUS ASSIST. Most installers do not understand the challenges of Mega Pixel camera installations, especially on their first time. Many installers will need to call technical support because the lens is so hard to focus. It is like this for every manufacturer of Mega Pixel cameras because the lens adjustment is so complicated. But NOT with Panasonic's Mega Pixel product line. Here is a demonstration of focus assist feature on the WV-NP304.

Vandalism by Kids - Jacksonville Office

Out of all the places to try something these kids picked the wrong guy! They rode up on their bike and cased the house. Then they tried to pull the Comcast cable interface box out of the ground but couldn't. So they started shaking and attacking the camera pole. The camera housing loosened up and fell/tilted down catching a close-up of their faces.
Terry has his home and office surrounded by cameras. It is our test lab and our production facility in Jacksonville. the pics are from the Panasonic WJ-RT416.

Day/Night Camera Shootout - Panasonic
The Panasonic "out-of-the-box" settings have still not switched it from color compared the below video showing the Axis camera giving up early switching to the night mode. This is where Panasonic's imaging technology utilizing SDIII is still producing a noise free color picture. Proof positive that the Panasonic day night camera is the clear winner of this shootout! Call us to schedule your own shoot out!

Analog vs. MegaPixel Shootout

NP244 Analog 540 TVL 4mm lense
Panasonic NP302 > 3 MegaPixel w/4mm lense
MegaPixel equals more information but not necessarily the perfect camera. Buyer beware of the magic camera while understanding CMOS vs. CCD, edge to edge resolution, etc. While analog cameras still have the ability to product a great picture, their field of view is considerably smaller and the detail of the image is lacking comparitively. Look at the detail oriented items such as the carpet in each picture. Make your own decision.
